Design Concept
Located in the heart of the city of Aveiro (Portugal), this Hotel has a stunning and unique view.
Distinguished by its symbiosis, which combines La Belle Époque style with its inherent, maximalist charm, the “1877 Estrela Palace” is a unique building dating from the 17th century.
A magnificent Palace where in the first phase it received works to reinforce its structure and in a second phase the Interior Design project was developed to reveal all its splendor. With exclusive and themed suites, with views of the river, the unit has a rooftop with an exclusive bar for guests.
We started from the raw jewel we already had – the building – we kept the beautiful existing elements such as the plaster ceilings and high marbled baseboards, we worked with noble materials such as Italian marble, brass, bronze mirrors, hand-painted wallpapers, velvets, among others, highlighting its original beauty combined with the comfort of contemporary demands.
